I have never in my life met a person that doesn't like any food at all. It's really not humanly possible, likewise it is not humanly possible to not have relationships with any other human being. We have to have relationships to survive. Being a friendly guy myself, I have obtained many friends throughout the years, but I haven't found a friend quite like food. Food is a friend to me, as crazy as that might sound. People in general tend to turn to food depending on the emotion they are feeling. For instance, when I'm sad I would eat a "comfort food" to try and make my situation better. Or if I'm celebrating an event I might buy some of my favorite foods. For me that might be a piece of red velvet cake, but that's just me. No matter what emotion I'm feeling food is always around to comfort me or add to my happiness.
I also use food sometimes as a social event. Who doesn’t like hanging out with friends. Its apart of our culture to interact with others. We learned that the table is a metaphor for life. When we eat together at the table we are taking in knowledge and being social. Another thing that’s important to me that relates to food is how it relates to family. My family shares a lot of the key events when we eat. Whenever someone has a birthday we go out. Whenever we have a family get together or reunions we cook out or go somewhere. The sharing of a meal with loved ones is very important.
